Ivana Jirásek is a curator, writer and fundraiser specialising in contemporary studio glass and philanthropy.

She brings skills and networks gathered over 30 years to a diverse and rigorous professional practice. Ivana has focused on curatorial projects and growing philanthropic support for the arts with:

She works with artists, arts organisations, individual philanthropists and philanthropic trusts and foundations to facilitate strategic giving.

Ivana has a long association with the contemporary glass community as curator and writer. In Australia, she catalogued the National Art Glass Collection at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and developed exhibitions there and in partnership with the National Gallery of Australia, Australian craft and design centres and private galleries. She has been a judge of the Ranamok Glass Prize for Australian and New Zealand Contemporary Glass several times over its 20-year span, including its final year in 2014, and has curated shows with Canberra Glassworks among others. Ivana also worked with Coleridge Gallery, London in the late 1980s, a private gallery specialising in British contemporary glass.

Ivana is Czech-born, and holds a Master of Art Administration, Graduate Diploma in Gallery Management and Bachelor of Science (Marine Geology major) - all from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
